I just received a fundraising update from my finance team and wanted to send you a quick message from my phone.

While we've seen an uptick in grassroots donations these last few days, we're still unfortunately short of our fundraising goal for the quarter, and there's just hours left before the FEC filing deadline at midnight — our last and most important deadline before my name is on the ballot next week in the New Jersey primary.

Before I ask, please promise me you'll only donate if you're in a position to do so. I know these are extraordinary times we're living in and it means so much to have you on my team — regardless of whether you can chip in today.

It gives me great pride that our campaign has always been powered by people like you, pitching in $10 or $25 here and there to emails like this one. I know if enough folks can dig deep and give whatever they can afford tonight, we can pull through and be in a strong position to not only win this election, but win big.
