Dear John,

This is a difficult time for countless many members of our global community including many who work in the tourism industry.

With the initial outbreak of  COVID-19, widespread travel restrictions were used to combat the virus. But for countries and communities that rely on tourism, this made making ends meet impossible.

Equals, an LGBTQI+ organization in Barbados, helps their local community, providing a SafeSpace for community members to drop into that provides many different services and resources.

But COVID-19 severely impacted Equals' capacity to support their local community; don't have money for food and rent.

With Equals' supply of non-perishable goods and resources nearly depleted, they had little left to give, and the community had few places to turn to.

But OutRight heard the call, and with assistance from the Emergency Fund,  Equals was provided the resources they needed to continue being a pillar in their local community. You can witness their story by clicking the image below.
