The Wyoming Environmental Quality Council will consider proposed revisions to the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality Water Quality Rules Chapter 4, Regulations for Releases of Oil and Hazardous Substances into Waters of the State of Wyoming, Docket 25-3103, at a hearing to be held virtually on November 18, 2025, starting at 11:00 a.m.

The proposed Chapter 4 revisions (1) add a new passage to require remediation to levels identified in Department guidance; (2) clarify existing requirements; (3) update references; (4) remove passages that are restatements of the Wyoming Statutes; (5) add a section that lists referenced materials in accordance with W.S. § 16-3-103(h); and (6) update cross-references, update formatting and style, and correct grammar and punctuation errors throughout the Chapter. The chapter meets minimum substantive state statutory requirements per W.S. § 16-3-103(a)(i)(G).
