I just left City Hall where our idiotic City Council is voting to defund the police department. It was complete chaos down there because the Council is set to cut $1 billion from the police budget. That cut is enough to completely eliminate the NYPD’s anti-terrorism efforts until the year 2026.
Defunding the police is stupid, wrong, and downright dangerous. I’m furious and frankly I’m scared.
We have to win this race so I can get to Congress to stop New York politicians and politicians in cities across our country from defunding the police and leaving our neighborhoods at the mercy of criminals.
It’s June 30th so tonight at midnight is our final regular fundraising deadline before election day and we need to have a huge showing to fight back against these radicals who want to defund the police, radicals like my opponent Max
Rose.
