Today, Senator Ted Cruz endorsed far-right candidate Raul Reyes and placed a six-figure TV buy on his behalf. Both Reyes and Tony Gonzales have been vying for President Trump's endorsement. Gonzales is backed by corporate special interests and the Washington Republican establishment. They're running ads for Gonzales, so Cruz's decision to jump in and support his opponent is a significant development in the race.
