In conversations I’ve had with people across Illinois’ 11th district, one thing is clear: The cost of living is too high.

The Republican budget, signed into law earlier this summer, is a massive tax break for billionaires that rips health care away from millions and takes food assistance away from kids, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities. Meanwhile, Trump’s tariff policies are making life more expensive, driving energy, housing, and grocery costs through the roof.
