Through groundbreaking, participatory democracy, she’s empowering her constituents and all low- and no- income families to come up with solutions and receive the support they need to thrive.

Rashida’s Boost Act, which The Washington Post called the “closest plan in Congress to universal basic income,”¹ would provide cash payments to families and individuals and immediately uplift 45% of people living in poverty.

Rashida’s remained rooted in community, opening four neighborhood service centers to help people with everyday needs and holding over 40 in-district events with constituents—ranking in the top 10 freshman lawmakers for hosting the most town hall meetings.

Rashida is one of the few members of Congress that rejects corporate PAC money. She instead relies on our grassroots movement for change to power her campaign.
