Texas Republicans just took the GOP's unconstitutional anti-abortion agenda a step further:
Now, private citizens are allowed to sue abortion pill providers in Texas. That means more and more care providers won’t be able to do their jobs, patients will be denied safe, essential services, and extreme Republicans are once again putting politics over people’s health.
The abortion pill is safe, point blank. But instead of listening to science and medical professionals like Kim, the GOP is choosing to empower private citizens to drag medical providers into court, all because of their own personal beliefs. This is not helping patients or saving lives, instead, it's silencing doctors, putting real women's lives at risk, and robbing us of our essential freedoms.
