As a former teacher, I’ve seen firsthand just how hard our educators work and the personal sacrifices they have to make to ensure successful outcomes for our kids. I’ve fought for teachers’ wages and benefits since I first came to Lansing in 2016, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon— but I need your help. 

 

On July 13th at 7PM, we’ll be hosting an Educators for Darrin virtual fundraiser with special guest MEA President Paula Herbart. This will be a great opportunity to hear an update from our campaign and talk about how we can support teachers, students, and our communities in the upcoming election.

The COVID-19 pandemic has already drastically impacted not only our students but our educators as well, and now more than ever, it’s so important that we make sure we have education advocates in the State House. I’ve always fought to be your voice, and I promise to keep fighting for the resources and attention our students and teachers deserve.
