• Congressional budget proposals strip Medicaid access for our most vulnerable, devastate VA services for veterans, and consolidate federal power to sideline courts and Congress.
• Voting rights protections face new attacks—following the 2013 Shelby v. Holder decision, Section 2 now faces challenges that could eliminate Americans' ability to sue when denied equal political opportunity.
• Diversity programs that create pathways to opportunity are being systematically dismantled as part of a coordinated campaign to reverse decades of progress.

But the National Urban League is leading the resistance.

• Our Fair Budget Coalition demands Congress pass a budget that protects vulnerable families.
• Our 21 Pillars for Public Safety framework guides reform from Capitol Hill to city halls.
• Our Urban Expungement Program has helped 1,500+ justice-impacted individuals in Ohio alone overcome barriers to housing and employment.

Through 92 affiliates serving 300 communities, we reach more than 3 million people annually with programs that create real pathways from poverty to prosperity.
