Gresham’s Law and the Covid-19 Pandemic

Gresham’s law holds that bad money drives out good money. If there are two coins with the same face value, but of different intrinsic value (assume that one is made of a more precious metal) the coin with less intrinsic worth (bad coin) will be used for currency transactions and the more valuable coin will go out of circulation.

This law applies to the pharmaceuticals today. If there are two drugs of comparable efficacy, the drug that costs more (bad coin) will drive out the good drug (less expensive one) out of the market. It is unfortunate that we are experiencing this in the midst of the humanitarian tragedy of the Covid pandemic.

The Environmental Protection Agency announced Thursday that it will not regulate or limit a toxic chemical compound linked to infant brain damage in drinking water.

“The agency has determined that perchlorate does not occur with a frequency and at levels of public health concern, and that regulation of perchlorate does not present a meaningful opportunity for health risk reduction for persons served by public water systems,” the draft policy reads, the NYT reported according to unnamed EPA staff members.

If the public has learned a lesson from the COVID-19 pandemic it is that science does not generate certainty. Do homemade face masks work? What is the death rate of COVID-19? How accurate are the tests? How many people have no symptoms? And so on. Practically the lone undisputed assertion made so far is that all the nearest known genetic relatives of its cause, the Sars-CoV-2 virus, are found in horseshoe bats. Therefore, the likely viral reservoir was a bat.

However, most of these ancestor-like bat coronaviruses cannot infect humans. In consequence, from its beginning, a key question hanging over the pandemic has been: How did a bat RNA virus evolve into a human pathogen that is both virulent and deadly? The answer almost universally seized upon is that there was an intermediate species.

This is one of the most important articles that was published about the fraud behind "wireless and 5G are safe". It was written by two excellent journalists Mark Hertzgaard and Mark Dowie. Dowie is an award-winning journalist, former publisher and editor of Mother Jones magazine and known for his investigative journalism. It was published in 2018 by The Nation magazine but it is as important as ever to circulate it to educate the public about the real 5G conspiracy.

The first set of patients is being vaccinated for COVID-19 as part of a trial at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The hospital is one of four sites in the U.S. participating in the clinical trial for the BNT162 vaccine.

Cincinnati Children’s is continuing to enroll participants in the first stage of the study and is working to diversify the patient pool by recruiting underrepresented populations.
