Supporters of clean wind energy are fighting back against the Trump war on wind. And the fight over voting rights continues. All this and more in your CIB for September 8nd, 2025.
Supporters of clean wind energy are fighting back against the Trump war on wind, this week is our last chance to stand up for a crucial EPA finding about climate change, and the fight over voting rights continues, all this week in CIB:
Fighting Back Against the Trump War on Wind
Two weeks ago, the Trump Interior Department told the builders of a $4 billion offshore wind energy project—already 80% complete under valid federal permits—to stop construction.
Just one week after its vote for a plan requiring voters with “incomplete” information to provide it or be required to cast provisional ballots, attorneys for the NC State Board of Elections (NCSBE) filed in federal court a proposed settlement with the Trump Administration of its lawsuit demanding a similar action.
