Our health care system is continuing to get more expensive and out of reach due to decisions being made in Washington D.C. First, there were historic cuts to Medicaid and Medicare. Now, this:

We’re fighting back against these attacks on health care while continuing to demand Medicare for All. In just the last few months, we’ve:
- Held town halls in key Republican districts across the country, highlighting attacks on Medicare, Medicaid, the VA, and Social Security.
- Launched canvassing in those same districts, talking to people in our communities about the devastating effects of Republicans' attacks on our public health programs.
- Launched pressure campaigns and deep community organizing work in key Congressional districts represented by freshmen Democrats who have yet to sign on as cosponsors of Medicare for All.
We’re also:
- Training our nurse members to give presentations on Medicare for All to key community groups and allies in the areas where we are doing this deep organizing work.
- Continuing to prepare for next year's campaign to win a system of guaranteed health care in California through CalCare.
- Organizing against the encroachment of fascism in many different ways, including hosting rallies in key cities as part of national mobilizations, and launching a huge program in support of Prop 50 in California to pave the way for redistricting to counteract Republicans' cynical power grab.
With all of this work we’re doing to oppose health care cuts, support Medicare for All, and fight fascism in this country, we need as many volunteers as possible to join our Call Team.
Members of our Call Team will help us make calls to invite our supporters to take action in their communities by inviting them to upcoming events and actions.
This is an easy and convenient way to make an impact from home or anywhere you have a phone and a computer!
Will you sign up to join the Call Team today? We’ll be in touch with periodic opportunities to jump in and make calls to support our organizing.
