This weekend’s back-to-school event in The Bronx was one of over 44 events in our community, where we’ve been able to provide more than 3,000 backpacks to kids as they head back to school.
Kids should be heading back to school without the stress of not knowing if they’ll be able to get the school supplies they need to learn.
It’s because of grassroots support from everyday people that we are able to do events like these. Thank you to everyone who pitched in and made this event and others just like it possible.
With your support, we’re running this campaign differently — focused on making lasting progressive change, year-round community organizing, and ensuring that we re-elect Alexandria next year.
