Happy Monday folks! Look, it’s no surprise that Iowa is shaping up to be one of the TOP battleground states in the country this cycle.

We have an open Governor AND Senate race, something that hasn’t happened since 1968. We also have two open House districts, and two other House districts that were named “districts in play” for Democrats.

And from what we’ve seen so far this year, the momentum is on our side. Democrats have overperformed in all four of our special elections, and we flipped some seats in our state legislature from red to blue.

The results don’t lie — Iowans are ready for change.

As the Iowa Democratic Party, we’re working hard to make sure we can do whatever it takes to elect more Democrats up and down the ballot next fall. But we’ll have no chance of winning if our candidates aren’t aligned with YOUR values.
