Recently, ICE raided and arrested two members of the firefighting crew, in the middle of a wildfire.
Days later, they stormed an electric vehicle plant in Georgia.
This is the logic of fossil-fueled authoritarians. Instead of fighting the climate crisis, they’re targeting the working people trying to stop it.
Trump’s ICE raids around the country don’t make our country safer. They don’t make our communities stronger. They don’t put food on our table or keep a single person safe from disaster.
What they do is terrorize workers, punish immigrants, and make the climate crisis worse.
A Green New Deal would mean the opposite: guaranteeing good, dignified jobs to everyone, jobs that pay a decent wage and fight climate change. It means welcoming people to this country who are fleeing violence and climate change or just trying to build a better life.

We’re reaching young people, countering the right-wing propaganda that so many are exposed to online, and organizing them to resist Trump and build the progressive movement we all deserve.
