This week in the Senate Finance Committee, I told Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. the truth: He’s a charlatan who has put our country in a dangerous position.
He is responsible for canceling $500 million in mRNA vaccine research – the very science that helped us prepare for COVID and could save millions of lives in the next pandemic.
He fired the CDC Director after less than a month for refusing to rubber-stamp his anti-vaccine agenda.
He looked me in the eye and denied the clear history that vaccines nearly eradicated diseases like polio and measles.
This isn’t just a policy disagreement. This is about whether Americans can trust their health care system to protect them.
The administration – and charlatans like RFK Jr. – aren’t done with their anti-science crusades. That’s why the Senate must continue holding them accountable.
