There’s nothing the GOP and Trump want more than to see us fail. They’re intent on keeping their big-money advantage so they can win on November 3.

You and I both know how important it is that Democrats hold onto the House, take back the Senate, and defeat Donald Trump this November. And we definitely have the drive and the commitment to make that happen.
But Trump and the GOP are going to unleash an unprecedented barrage of dirty tricks in the months ahead to make sure we fail.
They’re suppressing the vote, stoking culture wars, spreading dangerous and divisive internet conspiracy theories, and ratcheting up their fundraising — all so they can prevent the landslide victory we hope to achieve in November. That means we are going to have to fight for that victory.
Of course, Democrats are not solely focused on fundraising. Over the past few months, my colleagues and I have been working on the Moving Forward Act, which will rebuild our infrastructure in ways that protect the environment and combat climate change.
One of my chief contributions to this bill is modernizing our water supply and improving our drought preparedness. I’ve also focused on restoring crumbling schools and public libraries, making USPS trucks more fuel-efficient, and bringing broadband to communities in need.
While Trump and the Republicans are completely consumed with holding onto power — even if it means breaking the law — we Democrats are dedicated to helping Americans live better, healthier lives.
