Dear friend,
We’re in the final stretch. In just five days, Members of the House of Lords
will debate the assisted dying Bill at its Second Reading, and there’s still
time to make sure they hear from supporters like you.
Assisted dying is well on its way to becoming law in the UK. The Bill has
cleared its most significant hurdle in the Commons, backed by a decisive
majority of MPs and the British public. With strong public support, a
cross-party majority, and a Bill shaped by months of scrutiny, this reform is no
longer hypothetical – it’s on its way.
But we cannot be complacent. Will you email a Member of the House of Lords and
urge them to attend the Second Reading debate and lend their voice to compassion
and choice?
Yes, I'll email a Peer →

The status quo is dangerous, forcing dying people to suffer unbearably or take
matters into their own hands, alone and in secret. Parliament has accepted this
cannot go on. The UK must legalise a safe, fair, and compassionate choice.
Peers must now respect the clearly expressed will of MPs, listen to the public
mood, and ensure the Bill completes its Parliamentary stages in the House of
Lords. Every email you send helps reinforce the widespread backing this Bill has
and shows Members of the House of Lords that the public expects action.

Time is running out. Opponents are mobilising and will try to flood the Lords
with messages against this reform. Even if you’ve already written, sending
another email today could make all the difference.
Everything we’ve done together – every conversation, every petition, every story
shared, and every email sent – has brought us to this turning point. Now, in
these final days, we need one last push to make sure progress becomes real
change.
Best wishes,

P.S We’ve come too far to let opponents derail this Bill. If there’s one more thing
you do today, make it this: email the Lords
