Vote Now to Feed Veterans!
Today is the day to rally for our veterans. As you already know, we are among 200 organizations competing for a $25,000 grant from the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program. This grant will go a long way for Soldiers' Angels. It would be used to support the Soldiers' Angels Hunger Relief Program that provides food assistance to low-income, at-risk, and homeless veterans across the country.
Let's take a closer look at the impact of Soldiers' Angels Veteran Mobile Food Distributions:
6 Veteran Mobile Food Distributions across the country: Atlanta, Charleston, Denver, Detroit, Orlando, and San Antonio.
75 pounds of food, on average, distributed to each veteran attending the event.
200 or more veterans served every month in every city the event is held.
14,400 veterans provided with food assistance in 2018 alone.

Today, August 23rd, is the last day to vote. You have until 11:59 pm ET and you can vote up to 10 times. Please cast all of your votes to help veterans in need. Winners will be announced on September 25th.
Treats for Troops Open for Registration!We are excited to announce that we are getting an early start to our annual candy collection drive, Soldiers' Angels Treats for Troops. Registration for businesses to become a collection site is now officially open!But before you commit to becoming a collection site, please remember that you are responsible for the cost of shipping ALL collected candy to a Soldiers' Angels Representative! Also, all candy collected in Soldiers' Angels name must be donated to Soldiers' Angels. Please check out the FAQ page for full details on the campaign or changes to the campaign.

Final Countdown for the Blanket Drive! As we approach the final week of the blanket drive, we are still in-need of additional donations of blankets in order to achieve our goal of collecting 2,000 blankets for troops and veterans! Although we had tremendous support following our last newsletter, we have only collected 591 blankets. Please, if you haven't already, consider giving the gift of warmth by buying a blanket from our Amazon Wish List! If you have a donation of blankets that you are ready to send or if you are collecting blankets until the end of the campaign on August 31st, please get them in the mail as soon as you can after August 31!
