On Tuesday, thousands of DC college students will walk out of class to demand an end to Trump's occupation of DC. We want to make Tuesday an unmistakable rebuke of Trump's occupation. But that only works if enough people turn out.

So, we're asking students and allies join together. Can you be there on Tuesday?

• Attend the George Washington University walkout at 1pm.
• Attend another walkout.

Studetns are demanding Mayor Bowser and Congress stop giving Trump a blank check to continue his dangerous and costly occuption. And they're calling on campus administrations to refuse to comply with the Trump administation, and use every tool at their disposal to protect students.

Trump is using the military to intimidate critics and to target Black people, immigrants, the homeless, and anybody else who doesn’t fit HIS image of America. We have a narrow window before this becomes the new normal. Los Angeles. Chicago. New Orleans, and more will be next if Trump sees he can get away with doing this in DC. We must all stand up and refuse to be silent.

The billionaires and corporations backing his authoritarian power grab are the same ones driving us headlong into the climate crisis. They’re counting on people being intimidated into staying silent so they can burn another 50 years of fossil fuels and torch our future.

They want us silent, so we’re getting loud. As a movement to avert the climate crisis, there is no path ahead that does not tackle the authoritarian crisis we are under right now.
