You're reading the September edition of The JanePAC Monthly, John — and last month brought some incredible wins that prove our grassroots movement is unstoppable!

From JanePAC-endorsed candidates taking on Trump to major environmental victories in the courts, we're seeing real change happen when communities refuse to back down.

Let’s dive in! 👇

🏛️ ADELITA VS DONALD TRUMP

In a huge climate victory, the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals blocked the Oak Flat land swap that would have handed sacred Apache land in southern Arizona to foreign-owned mining giant Resolution Copper.

Donald Trump quickly fired back on Truth Social, recklessly demanding that copper mining begin immediately. But JanePAC-endorsed climate champion Adelita Grijalva, the Democratic nominee for Arizona’s 7th Congressional District, boldly stood up to Trump and defended sacred lands from corporate greed:

“I stand with the San Carlos Apache Tribe and its Apache Stronghold members in their fight to protect sacred lands from greedy international mining companies.

Unfortunately, it is no surprise to see this President side with foreign corporations over protecting America's natural resources.”

With leaders like Adelita in Congress, we can trust that tribal lands will be protected from corporate exploitation — no matter who’s in the White House.

📰 JANE IN THE NEWS

Jane doesn't shy away from her values, no matter where she is, and that was on full display last month at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

When the jumbotron panned to her during an Angel City FC game, she proudly lifted her Immigrant City sweater to send a clear message the scoreboard couldn’t: Immigrants belong.

It's a perfect example of Jane's approach to activism. There's no “off switch” when it comes to standing up for what's right.

🌱 JANE WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU: TAKE THE CLIMATE ACTION PLEDGE

The climate crisis can feel insurmountable, but renowned scientist David Suzuki reminds us that when individual actions are multiplied across millions of people, they become a force no one can ignore.

The David Suzuki Foundation released 10 powerful ways each of us can reduce our environmental impact and drive climate progress:

  1. Urge government to take bold, ambitious climate action now.
  2. Use energy wisely — and save money too!
  3. Get charged up with renewables.
  4. Eat for a climate-stable planet.
  5. Start a climate conversation.
  6. Green your commute.
  7. Consume less, waste less, enjoy life more.
  8. Invest in renewables and divest from fossil fuels.
  9. Mobilize for local climate action.
  10. Get politically active and VOTE.

Jane wants to know: Which of these actions resonates most with you? We're asking supporters to commit to three specific actions from this list and join hundreds of others taking the climate pledge. Will you take a moment to join them?

📞 JANE'S GRASSROOTS CABINET QUARTERLY DEBRIEF CALL

Thank you to everyone who joined Jane for our quarterly debrief on August 20th!

Our supporters heard directly from JanePAC-endorsed candidates Jay Jones (Virginia Attorney General) and Kimberly Pope Adams (Virginia House of Delegates), got an inside look at our endorsement process, and dug into what’s at stake in Virginia this November.

These calls have become some of Jane's favorite conversations, and it's easy to see why. There's something powerful about connecting directly with the people who make this work possible.

If you missed the call, don't worry! A $10 monthly contribution gets you into Jane's Grassroots Cabinet with exclusive access to these quarterly conversations throughout the year, plus early access to events, merchandise discounts, and the chance for a personal thank-you call from Jane.

📋 JANEPAC ADVOCACY AND VOLUNTEER UPDATE

The JanePAC team has been hard at work mobilizing people power to defend our democracy, hold the line against Trump and his Republican allies, and help elect the next wave of climate champions at the state and local level.

When we asked all of you if Democratic leaders should fight fire with fire to counteract the Texas GOP gerrymandering scheme, more than 94 percent said “yes”.

Jane conveyed the message and personally wrote to several Democratic governors, urging them to use every tool at their disposal to counteract Republicans’ redistricting schemes, and she thanked those who have already taken action.

Now we‘re calling on everyone to take another step to stop Trump’s latest assault on our democracy: send letters to Congress demanding they do everything possible to stop Trump’s reckless authoritarian National Guard deployments in American cities. Click here to take action.

Meanwhile, our endorsed candidates are gearing up for the final stretch of their campaigns. Early voting begins soon in many states, and the outcome of these races will shape the future of climate leadership and democracy for years to come. Add your name to our volunteer list today so you don’t miss crucial opportunities to help reach voters in key races across the country.

That's it for this edition of The JanePAC Monthly, John.
