This Give OUT Day, let's fight back.

Dear Friend,
Right now, the Trump administration is trying to completely abolish the asylum system in the United States. The Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security recently proposed rules that, if enacted, would prevent almost all asylum seekers from securing freedom and safety in the United States. They would force asylum officers and judges to deny refugee status to almost everyone. They may also block asylum seekers with active cases—over 700,000 people, many thousands of whom are LGBTQ identified.
This ban would be devastating to our community and to our nation. Every contribution—big or small—will help us keep fighting and will be MATCHED, dollar for dollar. Give today and make TWICE the impact.
HELP US REACH OUR GOAL OF $5,000 THIS GIVE OUT DAY ([link removed])
We’re advocating vigorously against this proposal, and we’re prepared to go to court to help stop it, if necessary. There are so many nations in the world where queer, trans, and HIV-positive people are in mortal danger. And all of us should have the right to live openly and safely.
Help us save asylum. Help us save LGBTQ individuals from enduring daily violence and abuse. This Give OUT Day, a generous donor's matching gift means your gift is DOUBLED. So, if we raise our goal of $5,000 today this becomes a $10,000 donation for this urgent work. We need every dollar of it to beat this administration.
