Trump confirmed it. He’s planning on sending the National Guard to Chicago next.

I’ve said it before: Chicago doesn’t need to be saved by Donald Trump.

Not only is he taking time and resources away from our military to prepare for real missions protecting our nation, but he’s planning to let ICE operate out of their military bases too.

He’s planning on using Naval Station Great Lakes—where thousands of new recruits train every year—to house ICE officers.

That’s why Sen. Durbin and I are demanding a meeting with the Secretary of the Navy to get to the bottom of this.

Here’s where you come in:

At this meeting, we’ll need to show that we have unrelenting community support against this plan. That means we need to have lots of donations to emails like these.

Chicago and our troops deserve better than to be pawns in Trump’s political games.
