Notice of Public Meeting, Town of Evansville, WY, Evansville, WY, Evansville Emergency Connection Project
The Town of Evansville, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 7:00 PM, local time, on September 22, 2025, in the Town Hall Council Chambers, 235 Curtis Street, Evansville, WY. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project: Evansville Emergency Connection Project consisting of a connection to the City of Casper’s water system, a chlorination building and miscellaneous components to provide a supply of water to the Town of Evansville’s water distribution system in the case of an emergency where the Town of Evansville is not able to produce water at their Water Treatment Plant.
At the meeting, the Town of Evansville will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at the Town Hall, Contact Janelle Underwood, Town Clerk at (307) 234-6530.
Based on current cost estimates, the Town of Evansville plans to borrow $478,415 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Existing user fees will repay the loan. There is no expected rate increase to repay the loan. Loan terms will be 0.75% interest rate and 20 years.
