Today, our partners at About Face: Veterans Against War are taking direct, nonviolent action to break the 18-year siege on Gaza. They are participating in a U.S. veterans’ boat in the Sumud Flotilla — carrying humanitarian aid and demanding a corridor for survival for Palestinians.

Their presence matters. Veterans know their visibility may make the flotilla safer as a whole, disrupting Israeli and U.S. military propaganda that paves the way for violence. They are putting bodies and privilege on the line so women, children, and families in Gaza can live.

Women and families bear the brunt of this genocide — denied food, medicine, and freedom. Feminists cannot look away.

There’s a $5,000 funding gap to keep the U.S. veterans’ boat afloat. Funds cover travel, humanitarian equipment, and direct aid. Any excess will strengthen the wider flotilla.
