In about the last two weeks, Powered by People has already had to spend more than $300,000 in legal fees to defend ourselves against Ken Paxton’s political witch hunt.
That’s his strategy: bury us in court, drain our resources, attack a political rival, and try to stop the most effective voter registration effort in Texas.
But Beto is not going to be intimidated. We’ve taken on tough fights before, but we need your help to make sure we have the resources to cover these huge legal bills and continue our work across Texas.
