When North Carolinians elected Democratic leaders statewide last year, they made their wishes for our state clear. Voters rejected Republicans’ ultra-partisan agenda: their attempts to defund our public schools, take away voting access, ban abortion, and more.

Instead, they voted for leaders like Josh who are ready to defend our rights, invest in our communities, and put North Carolina on a brighter path.

But thanks to the GOP’s long history of partisan gerrymandering, Democratic candidates have been essentially shut out of power at the legislative and congressional levels. Republicans’ gerrymandering efforts ignore the will of the voters in favor of protecting GOP power no matter what, and we have to fight back.
