Hi John,

You’re winning the fight against the ban on new gas and diesel vehicles and now’s the time to push even harder.

The federal government is still planning to ban new gas and diesel vehicles, but Prime Minister Mark Carney is clearly feeling the heat from thousands of taxfighters like you.

Here’s what’s happening right now:

Carney just announced he’s going to delay his ban on new gas and diesel vehicles by one year.

You know that Canadians can’t afford the higher tax and power bills to pay for all the subsidies, charging stations, power plants and transmission lines this ban will require.

Carney says he wants to consult with Canadians about the future of the ban.

Carney shouldn’t be delaying and consulting.

He should be scrapping the ban completely and immediately.

NOW is the time for you to join the taxfighter army and tell the government YOU’RE against the ban on new gas and diesel vehicles.

Will you sign the petition telling the government to SCRAP the ban on the sale of new gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles?

**
We, the undersigned, call on the prime minister not to ban gas and diesel vehicles.

I drive an old truck because it fits my family’s needs and I like that my husband can fix it himself. Battery-powered cars work fine for some folks, but you should be able to pick the car or truck you want. That’s why you need to stop the ban on new gas and diesel vehicles.

Thanks for fighting for taxpayers!

Sincerely,

Kris Sims
