Hi john,
Abortion Access Front is BACK for the first Friday after our summer break, and hot damn we are so ready to throw on our fall sweaters, lace up our cozy shit-kicking boots, and metaphorically kick some anti-abortion ass!
Snuggle up into your favorite blanket and bear with us as we dive back into the latest abortion news, because we are definitely feeling the “pumpkin spice and not even a little bit nice” vibe as we roast the fuck out of these anti-abortion ghouls.
Amy Coney Bares It All ('All' Meaning Her Anti-Abortion Buffoonery)
Today in "nobody asked for this", Supreme Court justice Amy Coney Barrett is releasing a memoir where she asserts that the right to abortion is NOT a long standing tradition [[link removed]] ! You know what she says IS, though? Restricting abortion... which we should all just be completely cool with. She says abortion is totally different than other rights like marriage, sex, procreation, and birth control, which makes us wonder... will Memoir Amy share this view with Actual SCOTUS Justice Amy before she eventually votes to overturn gay marriage and birth control? Sorry to tell you, Ames, but the majority of folks in this country support abortion access, and we have no plans to stop holding you accountable.
Yes, We Are Talking About Texas AGAIN
The City of Austin has ended its Reproductive Healthcare Logistics Fund after the passage of Senate Bill 33 [[link removed]] , which bars the use of public funds for logistical support related to out-of-state abortion care. So not only does Texas want to eliminate any and all abortions in the state, they won’t even let their folks ESCAPE THE STATE to get the abortion care they need if they can’t afford the costs themselves! Over 28,000 Texans left the state for abortion care, and now there will be $400k less in funding to help them gtfo. The kicker? Anyone caught violating the law is subject to being sued not only by the Texas AG but literally any other Texas resident who won’t mind their own fucking business.
Two-panel meme from the show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. In the first panel, a man labeled “Texans supporting abortion funds so they can get out-of-state care” hands money labeled “ Tax $$$ ” to another man labeled “Anti-abortion Texas lawmakers.” In the second panel, the lawmakers throw the money away, with the text “ Tax $$$ ” flying toward the trash can. [[link removed]]
BUT WAIT—THERE’S MORE! Tripling down on their bounty hunter-style legislation, the Texas legislature is sending House Bill 7 to the governor’s desk, which would allow private citizens to sue manufacturers, distributors, mailers, or providers of abortion medication to or from Texas [[link removed]] . Get this: no abortion even has to have happened , literally just the INTENT is enough for any no-nothing snitch to try and cash in on the $100k lawsuit jackpot that Texas will literally PAY THEM if the case is successful.
If Abbott signs (which he will), abortion meds could stop being shipped into Texas, miscarriage patients will face dangerous delays, and anyone who so much as Googles how to help could become a legal target. Friends could turn into informants, families into suspects, and healthcare into a sting operation.
And in Texas, that’s exactly the point: terror by design.

BIG NEWWWWZ! CELEBRATE THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF ABORTION AF IN NYC at The Golden Probe Awards: Sexism’s Most Glamorous Night!
Screenshot of a WBRZ news headline that reads Planned Parenthood to cease operations in Louisiana; critics rejoice, advocates worry about future. The article is by Destiny Beasley and dated August 5 2025 at 3 55 PM. The background is white with a navy border. A red corner label in the bottom right says TEN YEARS AAF with the years 2015 and 2025 written vertically. [[link removed]]
TEN YEARS, BABY!!! That’s a full decade of throwing down for abortion providers and building a badass army of activists like YOU from coast to coast. And to kick off this milestone? We’re going full glam with the return of the Golden Probe Awards—our unapologetically rowdy celebration of reproductive rights heroes.
This year, we’re honoring and rolling out the gold carpet for the original dick-tator slayer herself, E. Jean Carroll and Michigan’s legendary Mother/Daughter abortion provider duo Renee and Lara Chelian . So if you’re in NYC or feel like making a pilgrimage to the holy land of roast-level justice, SAVE THE DATE: NOVEMBER 3RD . It's gonna be fancy. It's gonna be fierce. And it’s gonna be exactly the kind of night the patriarchy should be VERY afraid of.
