Team,

For decades, the science has been clear: Medication abortion is overwhelmingly safe and effective. But the Trump administration is trying to cloud that truth with secrecy and political interference.

Today, we filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration for failing to respond to our FOIA requests for information about HHS' and FDA's actions on medication abortion.

We asked for safety data and information about potential political influence in decision making about mifepristone, the abortion pill safely used by millions. What did we get in return? Silence. Delays. Confusion.

The public has a right to know if political pressure is influencing decisions about mifepristone. But the administration is refusing to turn over the documents.

So we're escalating: we're taking them to court to force them to release the truth.

Because this isn't just about paperwork. It's about exposing how anti-abortion forces are working behind closed doors to restrict medication abortion. What is the Trump administration hiding from us? We're using every legal tool possible to dig in and find out, but litigation takes resources. That's where you come in.

The administration may want to hide the truth, but with your support we're holding them accountable.

Onward,
