At a recent town hall, I was grateful to see so many members of our community come together — but I couldn’t help but notice something missing: the voices of our younger residents.
As I said then, it is imperative that younger folks engage with politics, especially at the local level. My high school principal used to remind us: “Young people, what you are to be, you’re becoming.”
If we start political engagement early, we build a foundation that lasts a lifetime. That’s why I believe the strength of our democracy — and the success of our communities — depends on inspiring younger generations to get involved now.
Your support makes it possible to invest in voter outreach, protect the right to vote, and ensure that young people — and all people — know that their voices matter.
Together, we can build a stronger, more engaged democracy for the future.
