Chris reached out yesterday to let you know we're running behind on our end-of-quarter fundraising numbers. While we're so grateful for everyone who has already stepped up to donate, we're still not at our goal.
You are a valued member of our grassroots team, so we wanted to be totally transparent with where we stand. I just crunched the numbers, and right now we're exactly $3,427 short of our goal.
So we're turning to you one last time, team: Will you step up and rush a donation of $5 or more right away to help us close the gap before midnight?
When we report all of our fundraising numbers to the FEC, everyone will see the amount we raised and exactly how many people gave to our campaign. If we miss our goal now, everyone from our opponents to Donald Trump will think we’re vulnerable.
We still have some work to do before tonight's FEC deadline, but we are confident that if we all come together and pitch in, we can reach our goal by the time we close the books.
Can I personally count on you to donate $5 or whatever you can before midnight? We need your support now more than ever to meet our end-of-quarter goal before our FEC deadline.
We don’t have a super PAC bankrolling us on the side, so whatever we raise is going to be because people like you contributed what you could, when you could.
