When Americans raised concerns about RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine views, he said
he was "not gonna take away vaccines from anybody."

His record tells a very different story.

He fired every single member of a vaccine advisory panel at the CDC —
replacing them with his own political picks.

He fired the director of the CDC after she refused to sign off on his
changes to the childhood vaccine schedule.

And under his leadership, the CDC has censored analysis on the importance
of vaccines, canceled research on vaccine hesitancy, and pulled $500
million in funding for vaccine development.

At a congressional hearing today, I pressed Secretary Kennedy on how he
lied about preserving Americans’ access to vaccines. I pointed out that
about a month ago, anybody could walk into a pharmacy and receive a COVID
vaccine and now, because of him, that’s no longer the case today.

Even then, he still said “I’m not taking them away.”

I called on him to resign.

Before he was even nominated to this position, RFK Jr. spent his whole
career peddling baseless conspiracy theories all under the guise of
“protecting children.” (On his watch, the United States experienced the
largest measles outbreak in modern history this summer. Children died.)

He has said in the past that there is “no vaccine” that is safe and
effective.

Oh, and he has made money off of his all-out war on vaccines. Even as he
rolls back vaccine access and dangerous diseases resurface today — RFK
Jr.’s family could continue to profit thanks to his serious conflicts of
interest in litigation against vaccines.

Over a million Americans died from COVID-19. The vaccine has saved
countless lives. Ask any scientist or doctor and they’ll tell you:
Vaccines are one of the most effective tools we have to prevent the spread
of infectious disease, especially for the most vulnerable among us, like
children.

The stakes here couldn’t be higher. RFK Jr. is disqualified, dangerous,
and should not have the power to make critical health care decisions for
millions of Americans. That’s why I won’t ever let up on this, and I’ll
keep fighting to protect the health of all Americans.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
