Gavin Newsom is so desperate to pass Prop 50 that he’s using Kamala Harris’s failed strategy—comparing President Trump to Hitler as often as possible.

That’s what people do when they don’t have an argument.

For a man who copies President Trump’s every move on social media, Newsom should think twice before making such absurd comparisons. But that’s exactly what he’s doing.

His only defense of this lawless Prop 50 power grab is to throw rhetorical bombs at Californians suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. Meanwhile, he’s raised $5 million from out-of-state donors to bankroll his scheme.

Newsom’s ads attack President Trump’s accomplishments in office because he wants to return to the failed policies of the Biden era: higher inflation, more crime, and another invasion at our southern border.

The stakes on Prop 50 couldn’t be higher.

Democrats are also targeting me directly. In addition to my former opponent, a San Diego City Councilwoman just announced her candidacy. Their pitch is simple: defend the Biden-Harris-Newsom agenda. But voters rejected that agenda last November—and they’ll reject it again this cycle.
