Community litter cleanup event in Silverdale
The Kitsap County Adopt a Spot Program [ [link removed] ] is hosting a community litter cleanup event! Join us for an end-of-summer cleanup along Silverdale Way.
*When: *Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 9 a.m. We'll sign in volunteers and provide safety information starting at 9:15 a.m.
*Where: *Meet in the parking lot south of Whistle Workwear [ [link removed] ], 2789 NW Randall Way, Silverdale, WA. Look for an orange flag with recycle symbols on it.
We'll provide bags, grabbers, gloves, and high visibility vests. We'll also bring donuts and coffee for participants, while supplies last. Please RSVP for the event to help us know how many people to expect!

Who can participate?
All members of the public, ages 15 and up, are welcome to join. Youth volunteers 15 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable close-toed shoes such as sneakers or work boots. We also recommend long pants and light-colored shirts.
Where is the cleanup route?
We’ll be cleaning up litter along a three-mile stretch of sidewalk on Silverdale Way NW. Our route begins at the meeting point and heads north along Silverdale Way until we reach the SR 303 underpass. From there, we’ll cross the road and go south until we reach Anderson Hill Road. Then we’ll turn around and head back to our starting point.
