Dear Democrats,

Unless you’re a billionaire, GOP policy has been a disaster for working class Americans. We continue to tell voters how Trump and Republicans are decimating our healthcare and food assistance and making it harder to find a job.

But the outlook for our non-human New Mexican neighbors is even worse under the Trump Administration.

The fact of the matter is that Republicans will do nothing to protect wildlife, in fact they actively try to harm protected species like the Mexicans Grey Wolf and Prairie Chicken. The only way to ensure protections for wildlife in New Mexico and across the country is to elect Democrats.

To protect wildlife, we have to elect Democrats. The future of species like the Mexican Grey Wolf is grim under Republicans. Please chip in to help elect NM Democrats who stand for wildlife conservation at the local, state and federal levels.

Just last month, feds shot and killed a young Mexican Grey Wolf in New Mexico from a helicopter. Congressional Republicans even introduced a bill earlier this summer that would remove endangered species status from Mexican Grey Wolves, which experts say could result in their extinction.

And despite dwindling populations, the Lesser Prairie Chicken just l ost its federal protections as an endangered species after a Texan federal court ruling.

These are just some examples of the threats facing wildlife. Rolling back clean energy programs, environmental protections, and industry regulations are leading to more hostile climates and threatening the existence of species worldwide.
