First, I want to say thank you. With the support of this grassroots team, our campaign not only met, but exceeded our fundraising goal for the month of August.

That’s great news, but let’s be clear: this campaign isn’t about raising as much money as we can. It’s about you, and at the end of the day, everything I’m doing in Congress is for one reason: to keep delivering bold progress for everyday folks like you and your family.

That’s why I’m pushing for legislation to protect our communities from the increasing risk of wildfires. It’s why I’m pushing to reverse GOP cuts and restore funding for Medicaid and SNAP. And it’s why I’m working with anyone I can to find real solutions to end America’s mental health crisis.

So your support really does keep me in the fight to tackle tough issues like these. And soon, your support will be critical: Our team is facing a critical deadline at the end of the month, and afterwards, we’re required to submit a report for the FEC to release publicly.
