In the last two weeks, we have seen the Supreme Court rule in favor of nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ workers, the preservation of DACA, and a woman's right to choose in Louisiana. 

Like many of you, I'm happily surprised by the Supreme Court's decisions. That said, I refuse to take these rulings for granted. That's because the Trump Administration has no bottom when it comes to its destructive, small-minded agenda. We have fought too long and too hard for progress to let it be reversed now. 

As long as I'm a Congresswoman, I will stand up to President Trump's weak and ignorant policies and fight for the working people of CA-38 by protecting the Affordable Care Act, working for a more humane immigration system, and fighting for criminal justice reform.
