Last week, President Trump issued a statement expanding and extending his April 22nd proclamation by banning certain persons who arrived in the U.S. with L, J, H-1B or H-2B visas. Furthermore, he continued to dismantle our asylum system, stranding untold numbers fleeing persecution.

Since the start of the pandemic, the administration has moved forward with 48 changes to the immigration system -- and most with no definitive end date.

These decisions are bad for Americans, bad for America, and of great economic and physical danger for immigrants and refugees.

The truth of the matter is that the administration is using a global pandemic to advance an anti-immigrant agenda.
