It’s often said that food is the universal language. And yet, too often, we forget about the people behind our food, friend.
Across the United States, 2.4 million farmworkers power our agricultural industry — over half of whom are undocumented or hold temporary status. Farmworkers do the most essential labor — feeding America — while enduring dangerous conditions and earning among the lowest wages in the country.
Today, we’re launching a story collection to lift their voices. It’s a place where you can hear directly from farmworkers, learn about their lives, and stand with them in the fight for dignity and justice. Check it out >>> ([link removed])

Over the summer of 2024, we joined United Farm Workers in hosting a series of legal clinics in Bakersfield, California. There, we heard from immigrant farmworkers and organizers, like Ana, Olivia, and Alejandra, who spoke about their work in the fields, driven by love for their families and dreams of a better life. Now, we’re honored to share their stories with you, especially in this time of heightened uncertainty. ([link removed])
The Trump administration continues to escalate its attacks on farmworkers and immigrant communities. We have all seen the videos of immigration agents, typically masked without identification, breaking car windows, chasing workers through fields, and tearing families apart outside of their homes. It’s terrifying.
It is more important than ever that we stand with our immigrant neighbors and recognize that our lives are deeply interconnected. What harms our neighbor harms us.
We invite you to explore our new project — to listen to powerful stories, learn about our food system, and stand in solidarity with the farmworkers whose labor keeps our country fed. ([link removed])
