Voting In-Progress at two Early Voting Centers! Voting at nine additional satellite locations within the 11th Congressional District ends Saturday at 5 PM.

Fairfax Commonwealth's Attorney Steve Descano is our grillmaster-in-chief. Bring the kids to enjoy BBQ and friendly Democratic company as we prepare for the November Elections! Tickets are only $25; kids 12 and under FREE!

  • Sully Dems International Shindig - Sun., Sept. 7 @ 2 PM; Centreville address provided upon RSVP. Bring your good cheer and share it with everyone by donating food and/or beverages! Help make this a fun celebration of culture and diversity.  Bring your favorite family dishes. Event organizers need volunteers to bring a dish, as well as bar and service volunteers.

  • H.R. 1 Community Forum (The One Big, Beautiful Bill Act (Public Law 119-21)) Co-Sponsored by the FCDC Black Caucus - Sat., Sept. 13 @ 9 AM - First Baptist Church of Vienna. Join Delegate David Bulova, Sam Shirazi, Federal Fallout, and Bobby Kogan, Center for American Progress, for an open forum on the political, economic, and social impacts on Virginians of H.R. 1, The One Big, Beautiful Bill Act (Public Law 119-21). No registration required.
  • Jammin' For Justice: Dranesville Dems Fall Fundraiser - Sat., Sept. 13 @ 5 PM; "Jazz Shack" - Arlington address provided upon RSVP. The Dranesville District Democratic Committee, in collaboration with the Arlington County Democratic Committee, presents JAMMIN’ FOR JUSTICE, Dranesville Dems' Annual Fundraiser to Get Out the Vote and Keep Fairfax Blue. Music by The Shacksters (Jazz Shack House Band), Nobody's Business, and Veronneau.   • Mason Dems Rage for Change Fundraiser - Sat., Sept. 13 @ 7 PM; Address provided upon RSVP.  Join Mason Dems for a high-energy night of music, laughter, and creative activism to support our local Democratic Party. Channel your frustration with attacks on immigrants, women, federal workers, and public education into safe, fun “rage” activities—like smashing policy piñatas, bubble-wrap stomping, and creating a community mural. 

  • Mount Vernon District Dems 48th Annual Ice Cream Social - Sun., Sept. 14 @ 2 PM; Laurel Hill Park Central Green, 8780 Lorton Rd, Lorton. Join Mount Vernon District Democrats for our yearly celebration with speakers, ice cream, soft drinks, and other food. The park has a paved and covered picnic area, adjacent playground and restrooms. Tickets are free, but sponsor if you can.

Update on Our Rights Across Virginia and the Nation with Jamie Lockhart, Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia PAC. Messaging – What We Can Do, and What We Should Avoid with Antonia Scatton, political messaging expert, communications consultant, and author of Reframing America newsletter. Congress is Back – Opportunity to Make a Buzz with 
    Scott Wheeler of Five by Fifteen will introduce the DC Field Trip, a joint venture with Mayday Movement USA, addressing travel, lodging, family care, social anxiety, impact, finances, and more.

  • Walkinshaw for Congress Rally BBQ w/ Sen. Warner, Abigail Spanberger & Moms Demand Action! - Sat., Sept. 6 @ 1 PM; Vienna address provided upon registration. Join James Walkinshaw, Abigail Spanberger, Moms Demand Action, and a powerful lineup of local leaders for an energizing Weekend of Action the final weekend before the Special Election on September 9th! They will kick things off with a rally to fire up the crowd, hear from inspiring elected officials, and make it clear that our community is ready to send James to Congress. After the rally, stick around for a barbecue full of good food and great energy, and then hit the doors with fellow volunteers to Get Out the Vote in this critical race.

  • Del. Holly Seibold’s 3rd Annual Summer Splash Fundraiser - Sat., Sept. 6; VIP Reception - 6 PM; General Admission - 6:30 PM; Westwood Country Club, Vienna. Please join Delegate Holly Seibold for an Evening Cocktail Party poolside at Westwood Country Club. The pool will be open exclusively for our private event from 6:00-8:30 PM. Feel free to take a dip! Lifeguards will be on duty. Please bring the family! 

  • Fault Lines Screening with Post-film Panel and Social Hour - Sun., Sept. 7 @ 3:15 PM; Angelika Film Center at Mosaic. The public is invite you to a special, exclusive screening of the groundbreaking documentary, "Fault Lines,” followed by an expert panel discussion with regional leaders and a social hour to continue the conversation. Panelists include Fairfax County Chairman Jeff McKay, Providence District Supervisor Dalia Palchick, Delegate Marcus Simon among others.
