We have a real problem, friends, so I'll get straight to the point: Our most important FEC deadline of 2020 is just hours away, and our fundraising is still lagging behind our critical end-of-quarter goal.  

House Democrats have fought hard to pass lifesaving legislation – to provide access to health care, paid sick leave and needed aid to workers affected by the coronavirus pandemic. But the GOP is focused on putting special interests over the health and safety of families and dismantling our health care. 

Friends, it's truly never been more urgent to counter President Trump's corrupt and dangerous agenda. But he and the RNC have set their sights on Florida. They are determined to win here, defeat me and retake the House.

That's why I couldn't be more thrilled that a group of Floridians who know the danger of President Trump's lack of leadership agreed to match every dollar until we meet the FEC deadline to ensure we have the resources we need to win the fights to come – but, right now, we're still falling $1,729 short of our match goal. (If you've been waiting for the right time to give – now is the best time to rush $5 and double your impact to win in Florida and keep the House blue in 2020.)

Friends, opportunities like this don't come around often – and this honestly couldn't have come at a better time. President Trump is so desperate to win in Florida that he's even moved the Republican National Convention to Jacksonville. With the president and his allies unleashing so much political capital to defeat us in Florida, we've got to take full advantage of match opportunities like this so we can win.

Frankly, we're up for a tough fight – and nothing short of the future and conscience of our nation are at stake. The truth is, if we want to ensure affordable health care, protect workers and hold this corrupt president accountable, we can't afford to waste this chance to DOUBLE every dollar.
