Friend,
When you know you're fighting for what's right, there's no need to apologize.
And when you're working to defeat the climate crisis and create good-paying union jobs for workers all around the country, there's especially no need to apologize.
When Jay Inslee ran for president last year, he ran on exactly this -- inspiring hundreds of thousands of Americans with his unapologetic pro-climate, pro-worker, and pro-economy platform.
Hear it from Jay himself: Watch and share this two-minute video clip on Facebook on how we can defeat climate change AND put people to work.
Almost a year since he left the race, I'm still so proud to have been part of Jay's climate mission. But the fight continues. The team here at Evergreen is carrying Jay's mission forward, putting pressure on Congress -- and the next president -- to wage an all-out national mobilization to defeat the climate crisis and create a just and inclusive clean energy economy. And we're using Jay's open-source and gold-standard climate plan to do it.
We must be insistent, persistent, and unequivocal as we push to make our climate vision a reality.
Take a moment to watch and share Jay's inspiring message on climate action, the clean energy economy, and why we should be "forceful and aggressive" with our message.
Thanks for being in this movement with me. As Jay always says, "Early to bed, early to rise, work like hell and organize. Let's go get 'em."
