We're all fighting to stop the spread of COVID-19, and for many of us, that means hard sacrifices -- but it's also shown how important it is to elect officials who will work hard for us and share the truth. But if you'd prefer to take a break from updates about House and Senate races in these uncertain times, let us know and we'll unsubscribe you for a few weeks. Sometimes we all need some space.
Wanted to make sure you saw Senator Cantwell's note --
In a time with so much uncertainty, she's focused on what matters right now. Because she knows one important thing: Every bit of progress makes a difference for the American people.
Maria needs to know you have her back for the big fights and the small fights and everything in between: Donate $5 or more right now before June's end-of-quarter deadline.
If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.
Thanks,
Kevin

Subject: There's more work to do -- that's why I'm asking you to step up.
Friend --
Getting through this crisis and rebuilding our economy and our country is going to take hard work and strong, focused leadership. While millions of Americans deal with the impact of COVID-19, these last few months have exposed issues with our economy, policing and criminal justice, environmental and climate regulations, voting and equal access to the ballot box, and so many more issues that we need to continue working to address.
I'm fighting every day for progress on all of those issues and more, because Washingtonians deserve it and the American people deserve it. But we have to be prepared:
Before our end-of-quarter deadline, can you make a donation of $5 or more to support me in my fight to protect progressive values in Washington state and the Senate?

When right-wing politicians took aim at the Affordable Care Act year after year, I stood firm to protect its coverage for millions of Americans. Now, as we face health challenges unlike any we've ever faced as a country, we're reminded of how important access to health care coverage really is.
But I also don't let politics stop me from making progress for people who need it most on the exact issues we will be facing when we recover from this pandemic. That's why I have worked across the aisle to secure billions in new funding for affordable housing and why I'm working now to expand broadband internet connectivity so that virtual education is accessible to all.
And earlier this month, we had an incredible victory in the Senate when we voted to fully and permanently fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). This bipartisan legislation ensures that wildlife refuges, historical landmarks, forests, waterways, and urban parks and ballfields in each of the 50 states are protected at no cost to the taxpayer. That's the kind of progress Americans deserve.
There's more to do, and I need to know you're with me: Donate $5 or more before our end-of-quarter deadline to support my fight to protect health care, provide equal opportunity to education, and fight climate change in the Senate.
Thank you,
Maria Cantwell
