Hi there! I hope you and your loved ones had a great Labor Day. I enjoyed spending the day at the annual Labor Day parade in Downtown Toledo; maybe I saw some of you there!

Labor Day is one of our most important holidays, earned by those before us. I'm the daughter of a proud union family; my father worked at Toledo Jeep, and my mother helped organize the first union at Champion Spark Plug. We thank all those in unions who have fought for better working standards, pay, and safety - each of us is indebted to them for their sacrifices and work.

From my very first day in Congress, standing up for working people has been my priority. Ohio's workers make the things that make America, and I'll never stop fighting for you.
