An unprecedented pandemic has ravaged our country, decimated our national medical stockpiles, and put millions of vulnerable Americans at risk.

And in the midst of a crisis of this scale -- a crisis their own unpreparedness helped cause -- what does the Trump administration do?

They go before the Supreme Court and attempt to take health care from millions of Americans. It's despicable.

Unemployment numbers have soared north of 15%. Millions of Americans have lost their jobs in a sudden, cataclysmic event that few could have anticipated -- which means millions have lost their health care at a time when they need it most.

And if Trump and his allies succeed in destroying the Affordable Care Act, it'll mean the only safety net left for so many of our fellow citizens vanishes before our eyes.

That's why it's paramount that we act now to expand critical health care infrastructure.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid have been calling on the government to expand the reach of their programs since March. We can't wait any longer to heed their call.

Please, if you believe that innocent Americans shouldn't be made to suffer because of the ineptitude of this administration -- if you believe that we have a duty to guard our neighbors and ourselves from the worst of the crisis -- and if you believe that, in America, health care should be a right and not a privilege -- then we need you to add your name to the tens of thousands of engaged Democrats across the country who are calling on Congress to pass an emergency Medicare and Medicaid expansion. >> [link removed]
