This November, Californians will have an opportunity to defend our democracy and strike a blow against Donald Trump by voting YES on Prop 50.
But the GOP is already spending tens of millions on ads to stop us, and with just about a month until the first votes will be cast, we need to respond right away.
We’re counting on your help to spread the word and make sure everyone in California hears all about Trump’s attack on our democracy and attempts to rig the next election.
In normal times, a political party in power would be proud of their accomplishments and running on their record — asking voters to keep them in power.
We are not living in normal times.
With Donald Trump and complicit Republicans in Congress, they’ve chosen to use their powers to gut health care, threaten Social Security, send masked agents to disappear people from their homes and workplaces, and violate the Constitution.
They know that these issues aren’t just unpopular — they’re wrong. Now, the only hope they have to cling to power is to try and rig the election. We won’t stand for it.
When our democracy is under attack, California fights back.
