An update on a BIG month and the good things to come.

Hi

Summer is officially here! And just because the school year is over, doesn’t mean we’re slowing down. We have some ambitious summer plans that we're ready to tackle as we continue to look at new ways for our community to connect and come together to take a stand for healthy relationships.

Here are the latest highlights from a busy June at One Love:

At Home with One Love is back for the summer

Registration is now open for an exciting lineup of free virtual summer sessions as we continue At Home with One Love! Our popular Educator Hour is back and joined by a new Youth Leadership Camp, Educator Cohort Series, and an Educator Certification Program. From in-depth discussions on relationship trends, to hearing from knowledgeable guest speakers, participants will get to learn as they connect with like-minded peers and make the most of their summer!

Yeardley Love Statue Dedication

To honor Yeardley Love and the 10 years since her passing, we’re happy to announce her likeness has been memorialized as a statue outside US Lacrosse national headquarters in Maryland. A plaque on the memorial reads, “In honor of Yeardley Reynolds Love who exemplified kindness throughout her life and continues to inspire us all through the work of the One Love Foundation.” In response, Yeardley’s mother and our founder Sharon Love said “I am so moved by how many people have stepped up to support One Love. The future generation are the changemakers, and I am so proud to see them taking a stand to stop relationship abuse.”

One Love Summit 2020

Last week, more than 100 youth leaders from more than 20 states and three countries participated in One Love’s first ever Summit! Over four days, the group gathered virtually and learned how to galvanize their communities and take a stand for healthy love. They also heard from incredible guest speakers like InStyle's Editor-in-Chief Laura Brown and Civil Rights Attorney Shavar Jeffries. We want to congratulate all Summit participants helping to lead the relationship health revolution! They continuously inspire us and we know that more amazing things are to come from this group.

Your support is making a difference

"Through being a teen ambassador for One Love, I've been able to host over 6 workshops in less than 2 years in my school and community, which has helped me connect to so many more people, both old and young, and it has allowed me to enforce change and help people in a way I never thought I'd be able to. I struggle with social anxiety, and One Love has given me a voice to enforce change and happiness in my life and others."
