📓 What Is the ELPN Steering Committee? The all-volunteer Steering Committee sets ELPN priorities and determines our programming throughout the year. With the help of dedicated and collaborative individuals, ELPN has brought accessible and diverse programming to affordable housing practitioners and advocates through NPH since 2014.

We know that to achieve a future where everyone in the Bay Area has a safe place to call home, we need to change the narratives and attitudes about housing and homelessness that hold us back. Join us on Thursday September 16 at the New Parkway Theatre in Oakland for the premiere of six new short videos from our most recent Stories of Home cohort, led by All Home with NPH! View these new stories, hear from those who were part of the project, and get inspired to use storytelling in the movement for housing justice.

Meet the brand new Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP) cohort that  recently started their year-long journey at their respective host agencies! These new BAHIPers look ahead to a year of activities, trainings, networking, and events led by NPH and our partners and other professionals, that cover real estate development, housing policy and advocacy, and soft skills training, such as communications, workplace culture, and more.

Chris Iglesias is a visionary leader who has dedicated his career to executing a social equity agenda through innovative and strategic public-private partnerships. As the CEO of The Unity Council (TUC), he leads one of East Oakland’s most vital community assets—a 55-year-old social equity development organization devoted to improving the quality of life for the residents of the largest Latino neighborhood in the Bay Area—Oakland’s Fruitvale District—through a place-based economic and intergenerational equity agenda.

Chris joined the NPH Board in 2022 and continues to be a valued member of the Board. Thank you for your work as an NPH Board Member!

10/15, Housing Trust SV - 25th Anniversary Investor Briefing Join Housing Trust Silicon Valley at the California Theatre in San Jose for an evening of connection and inspiration. This event will start with a networking reception, then move into a program with housing leaders, hear incredible stories of our impact, and get a look ahead at the challenges and opportunities for the next 25 years.
